Invisible People
I titled this series Invisible People because that is precisely what so many experiencing homelessness are made to be. People pass them on the street, avert their eyes, and treat them as though they simply do not exist .By presenting these portraits at amonumental scale, I am insisting that they be seen. Making the invisible visible.

Preservation
Each portrait begins with a conversation. The carving of the Plexiglass block is a slow, meditative act that mirrors the time and respect required to truly see another human being. We document not just the face, but the story behind it.
