1. Who We Are
This Privacy Policy describes how The Invisible Nation Project and The Invisible Nation Foundation (together, “Invisible Nation,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collect, use, and share information when you visit [WEBSITE DOMAIN], submit a contact form, or make a donation.
The Invisible Nation Project is a standalone creative entity, owned and operated by artist Neil Shigley, responsible for the creation and continuation of the portrait project itself. The Invisible Nation Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness and funds in support of unhoused communities and the local resources that serve them. The two are separate legal entities that share this website and this Privacy Policy because donations made through the site support both.

3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
• Respond to inquiries submitted through the contact page. • Process and acknowledge donations, and issue tax-deductible donation receipts issued by the Foundation. • Allocate and administer donations according to our funding model. • Understand how visitors use the site and improve its content and performance. • Comply with applicable tax, accounting, and legal obligations. • Detect and prevent fraud or misuse of our donation platform.
4. How Donations Are Processed, Allocated, and Shared
Donations are collected through Fundraise Up, our third-party donation platform. Fundraise Up offers payment via Stripe, Google Pay, or direct credit card entry. These providers collect and store full payment card or bank details; we receive confirmation of your donation, its amount, and the contact information you provide at checkout, but not your full card number. Donations are split evenly: 50% supports The Invisible Nation Project and 50% is granted by The Invisible Nation Foundation to local care-giving organizations.
